TIP: To prevent twisting or warping a wheel during operation start at the far side of the work piece and lightly score the cut by moving the wheel toward the operator. Then without lifting the wheel from the score move the wheel back toward the start of the cut. Continue to oscillate back and forth across the cut, holding the gas saw in a perpendicular angle to the cut and applying no more pressure than necessary to maintain a good cutting rate. Remember that a wheel should not be stopped in the middle of a cut.
